Wow, last week Amazon was down and now today I get error messages when trying to log into Gmail and Facebook. What is the world coming to?
Interestingly enough, it appears to just be GMail webmail that is down. I also access Gmail via IMAP and that is working fine.

Apple's MobileMe was down for a while as well -- although, MobileMe might not be the best indicator as it hasn't been very reliable since launch.
Here the downtime is listed on its status history site:

But reporting the downtime was suspiciously left off of Apple's MobileMe Status site's main page (good job, Apple!). http://www.apple.com/mobileme/status/
